About the role:

The Assets & Quality Officer is accountable for providing support to two areas of the business, Property & Assets, and Quality and Innovation as required, in line with best practice and Able Australia’s vision, mission, strategy and values. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked within, and have an understanding of the NDIS (not essential). You will have strong attention to detail and solid administrative skills along with the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Collaboration and communication with key stakeholders are integral to the success of this role.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position based in Surrey Hills. There is a possibility of working from home also.

The role’s responsibilities include, and are not limited to, the following key areas:

  • Processing of all administrative matters related to fleet, property, assets, quality and innovation administration.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including the escalation of matters when required
  • Organisation of meetings, as required, including additional document preparation, minute taking and project support
  • Archiving documentation consistent with legislation and company policy
  • Ensure quality, property & assets systems (and other databases and repositories of information) are up to date, accurate and well maintained
  • Working collaboratively with Managers in the collation of company procedures and processes.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of administration tasks in the disability or health sector is advantageous but not essential
  • Data literate with the ability to analyse, monitor and report data and information
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with the Microsoft suite of products
  • Capacity to build collaborative and professional working relationships along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
