Position Title: Rostering Coordinator
Employment Type: Full Time / Ongoing (76 hours a fortnight across a rotating 6am to 7pm roster)
Work Location: Surrey Hills, Victoria
Salary range: $69,000 – $78,000 per annum plus superannuation. Salary upon commencement is dependent on relevant experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented Rostering Coordinator to join our Rostering team and support the Service Leads and the Resourcing Manager to plan and coordinate staff rosters which meet our client care requirements.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating accurate and up-to-date rosters for employees across Able Australia's services, ensuring that our employees are scheduled effectively and efficiently, taking into account their availability, skills, and preferences.
Working across a rotating 6am to 7pm roster you will be the first ‘point of call’ for our employees ensuring to arrange adequate coverage when shift vacancies occur, this will require you to liaise effectively and efficiently with staff and other stakeholders from diverse groups, whilst demonstrating your analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality services.
To be successful in this role you must be able to:
- Establish, plan and coordinate rosters for an allocated portfolio to achieve best practice rostering outcomes.
- Liaise with staff and other stakeholders from a diverse range of groups
- Competently use Microsoft Office, including rostering using Carelink or any other CRM systems.
- Remain flexible to accommodate peaks in workflows
- Display problem solving and negotiation skills
- Work across a rotating 6am to 7pm roster, including weekends, and participate in an on-call roster.
